I dreamt I was on reality TV w/ a bunch of other contestants and I got mad at a guy and kept putting him in a a full Nelson and it spiraled out of control to where we drew axes 🪓 on each other. 🤷♂️ we agreed to lowere them but obviously I would get voted out the competition 😩
Dreams about reality TV can often reflect your feelings about competition, social dynamics, and the desire for recognition or validation. The setting of being a contestant on a reality show suggests that you might be experiencing pressures or challenges in your waking life where you feel judged or evaluated by others.
Your anger towards the guy in the dream and the action of applying a full Nelson could symbolize a struggle for control or power in your life. The physicality of the hold may indicate that you feel trapped or constrained by circumstances or relationships, and your frustration is mounting to a point where you want to assert yourself. This could mirror feelings of conflict in your waking life, where perhaps someone is challenging your authority or denying you recognition.
The use of axes and the agreement to lower them can signify an escalation of conflict and the potential for resolution. Axes are traditionally used for chopping and can symbolize cutting ties or severing relationships. The act of drawing axes on each other but agreeing to lower them suggests an understanding that things might have escalated too far, and there’s an acknowledgment of the need to diffuse the situation. This may reflect your conscious efforts to manage conflicts in real life—balancing aggression with the desire to maintain peace.
Feeling that you might be voted out of the competition as a consequence can indicate a fear of rejection or failure. Perhaps there’s an area in your life where you feel like you’re under scrutiny, and this dream could be expressing anxieties about not meeting the expectations of others or feeling unworthy of acceptance in social or professional environments.
Overall, this dream may be urging you to consider how you handle conflict and competition in your waking life. It suggests a deeper exploration of your emotions, particularly feelings of anger, frustration, and a desire for validation. It could be a prompt to seek healthier ways of addressing disputes or asserting yourself without jeopardizing important relationships or your standing with others.
